From countertop displays and lightboxes to POS fixtures and signage — acrylic fabrication in Newlands, Johannesburg offers endless possibilities for retail, events and interiors.
🪵 Wood
Common uses: Premium display stands, retail fixtures, shelving, cabinets, countertop units, architectural features.
Properties: Natural grain finish, sturdy, can be painted or stained. Works well combined with acrylic for mixed-material builds.
We offer: Plywood, solid timber, veneered boards — including Birch ply, Pine, and Oak. Precision CNC cut and edge-finished in our workshop.
🪵 MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard)
Common uses: Budget-friendly displays, temporary POS stands, shelving, backing panels, signage substrates, exhibition booths.
Properties: Smooth surface, consistent density, easy to machine and paint. Cost-effective for large-format or short-run projects.
We offer: Standard and moisture-resistant MDF. Cut to shape with CNC routing, edge-sealed on request.
💎 Acrylic Sheeting (Perspex® / PLEXIGLAS® / Astariglas)
Common uses: Countertop displays, brochure holders, product glorifiers, lightboxes, signage, retail fixtures, sneeze guards.
Properties: Crystal-clear optical clarity, UV-stable, impact-resistant, lightweight (half the weight of glass). Available in clear, opal, frosted, coloured, and mirror finishes.
We offer: Sheets from 1.5 mm to 25 mm thick. CNC laser cut, routed, heat bent, solvent bonded, flame polished, UV printed, and laser engraved. We stock and fabricate Perspex®, PLEXIGLAS®, and Astariglas sheet brands.
Precision fabrication — every cut, bend and bond is controlled in-house at our Johannesburg workshop for consistent retail-grade quality.
🔵 Acrylic Tubes & Rods (Perspex® / PLEXIGLAS®)
Common uses: Display risers, product pedestals, sign supports, decorative columns, lighting diffusers, retail props, handrail inserts.
Properties: Clear or coloured extruded acrylic. Excellent light transmission for edge-lit applications. Can be cut, polished, and bonded.
We offer: Various diameters and lengths in Perspex® and PLEXIGLAS® brands. Precision cut, flame-polished ends, and drilled to specification.
🪞 ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) — Dibond® / Alucobond®
Common uses: Exterior signage, shop fascias, building cladding, exhibition stands, corporate reception branding, large-format displays.
Properties: Rigid, lightweight, weather-resistant, flat surface with a sleek finish. Two aluminium skins bonded to a polyethylene core. Holds up well outdoors.
We offer: Cut to size, CNC routed, edge-finished. Available in a range of standard colours and metallic finishes — including Dibond® and Alucobond® brands.
🔩 Aluminium Sheets
Common uses: Display bases, structural supports, signage backings, retail fixture framing, exhibition stands, industrial components, mounting plates.
Properties: Lightweight yet strong, corrosion-resistant, easy to machine and fabricate. Can be brushed, anodised, or powder-coated for a premium finish. Offers excellent rigidity for larger displays.
We offer: Flat sheets in various thicknesses and alloys (including 5052 & 6061). CNC cut, routed, drilled, bent, and edge-finished to your specification.
🔩 Aluminium Rods & Extrusions
Common uses: Display support legs, sign posts, handrails, structural framing, retail fixture uprights, custom brackets, event rigging, decorative trims.
Properties: Strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant. Available in round, square, rectangular and custom extruded profiles. Can be cut, drilled, tapped, threaded, and welded.
We offer: Solid round rods, square bars, and custom extrusions in 6061 & 6082 alloys. Precision cut to length, drilled, tapped, threaded, and surface-finished (brushed, anodised, or powder-coated).
📄 Flat Styrene Sheets (HIPS)
Common uses: Vacuum-formed trays, POS inserts, temporary displays, product packaging inserts, divider panels, in-store promotional signage.
Properties: Cost-effective thermoplastic, easy to thermoform and cut. Good impact resistance for its weight. Accepts printing and painting well.
We offer: Flat sheets in various thicknesses — including Styrolex and generic HIPS grades. CNC cut, routed, or vacuum-formed to your design.
🧪 PETg Sheets (Vivak®)
Common uses: Pharmacy displays, medical dividers, food-grade trays, safety screens, retail POP displays, high-traffic signage.
Properties: Crystal-clear, impact-resistant, excellent chemical resistance. More durable than standard acrylic in high-impact environments. Food-safe grade available. Can be cold-bent without cracking.
We offer: Clear and coloured sheets in Vivak® and generic PETg grades. CNC cut, routed, bent, and printed in our workshop.
🧱 ABS Sheets
Common uses: Vacuum-formed trays and housings, product display bases, kiosk enclosures, protective cases, high-volume POS inserts, industrial components.
Properties: Tough, impact-resistant, durable. Excellent for vacuum forming deep-draw shapes. Can be painted, printed, or bonded. Good dimensional stability.
We offer: Flat sheets in various thicknesses and colours — including Magnum ABS and generic ABS grades. CNC cut, routed, and vacuum-formed to specification.
🔩 Cabinet Fixtures & Hardware (Blum® / Hettich® / Häfele®)
Common uses: Display cabinetry, shelving units, countertop cases, sliding door mechanisms, locking display cases, retail fixture assembly, hinged panels.
Properties: Durable metal and plastic fittings designed for repeated use. Includes hinges, handles, catches, drawer slides, shelf pins, cam locks, and mounting brackets.
We offer: A range of cabinet-grade hardware from Blum®, Hettich® and Häfele® suitable for acrylic, wood, and mixed-material displays. Supplied loose or pre-installed on fabricated units. Custom drilling and mounting available.
🔩 Acrylic POS Fixtures & Components
Common uses: Self-closing acrylic hinges for display doors, acrylic clasps and latches for secure case closures, snap-fit POS tray connectors, interlocking display components, acrylic shelf clips and dividers, brochure pocket brackets, card holder inserts.
Properties: Fabricated from clear or coloured acrylic, these components offer a seamless transparent look that blends with the main display. Strong solvent-bonded joints and precision-cut interlocking tabs ensure reliable daily use in retail environments.
We offer: Custom-designed and fabricated acrylic hinges, clasps, brackets, clips, connectors, and interlocking components tailored to your display design. Laser cut, polished, and assembled in our Johannesburg workshop.
